First Time Volunteers

Open your heart, mind, and have fun! – We are service oriented and focus on maintaining a positive environment with good attitudes, even if we encounter some bad ones along the way. Share the love and the nourishment!

The Reno Burrito Project rolls and disperses over 500 all of their burritos to the unsheltered community on every other Sunday.

Promoting our pages to gain volunteer momentum, as well as exposure to other community resources allows us to continue our operations. We use our social media pages as tools to highlight the individual efforts of our volunteers, and ways to connect with and bolster other mutual aid groups. In addition to signing up your email, stay connected with us through our various channels

Select Your Day and Time As Volunteer

10am-12pm

Food and cooking donations need to be dropped off at the Center of Influence at 1095 East Taylor Street.

12pm- 2pm

Meet at The Center of Influence at 1095 East Taylor Street to roll burritos.

2pm-4pm

Meet at 311 East 6th Street, Reno, NV to load up wagons and grab additional supplies. We then walk around downtown Reno to disperse burritos. In instances of bad weather or limited volunteers, we will drive to locations or just set up at the Cares Campus Shelter
